It has come to our attention that the latest versions of Kazaa are preventing popup and ad blocking programs (not just A1Monitor).

You don't have to uninstall A1Monitor.  There IS a workaround: 

1.  When you start Kazaa, you may see a message “Kazaa Media Desktop has encountered a problem in showing ads. Please uninstall any ad-removal applications from your computer…..” Click OK
 

2.  Next, Kazaa opens a new browser window to a page stating A1Monitor (or any ad blocking software) must be removed to use Kazaa.  It reads: “Information About Problems Caused by Ads-Removal This page provides information about problems caused by ads-removal applications and methods….”

3. Close this browser window

This happens because A1Monitor blocks known ad servers.  It's part of the banner ad blocking portion of A1Monitor.  The easiest way to use Kazaa with A1Monitor is to uncheck the "block banner ads..." checkbox within A1Monitor.  Then Kazaa will open normally:

1. Click on the A1Monitor icon near the clock.  This brings up the A1Monitor settings. 

2. Click on the "Ad Types" tab.

3. Uncheck the "Block banner ads and many ....." checkbox

4. Restart Kazaa

If Kazaa still gives you that same error message, restart your computer. A1Monitor will still block popup ads, but it won't block any banner ads (ads showing up within a web page).  Most people are not annoyed with banner ads so hopefully this will be an acceptable way to use both A1Monitor and Kazaa.

If you use Kazaa a lot, you should just leave the "Block banner ads and many ...." check box unchecked.

If you rarely use Kazaa, just turn off banner blocking to use Kazaa, then turn it back on when you're done using Kazaa.
